Trovens are one of the First Families. The progenitor of their line is Fox Troven and he was the first Bearer of the Spear of Fire. They are primarily fire-wizards, only after Pentarch being destroyed did other types of wizards show up in their line. This is believed to be the fault of introducing of Fey and Element Wizarding blood into the line. About sixty years before the destruction of Pentarch they left the city to go traveling among the different cities, towns and villages in the land offering services and taking care of their own people. Over the years Troven has become synonymous with "traveling folk".
